VLSI / Embedded / Semiconductor Talent Acquisition Consultant
About the Role
Cyber Identity Solutions is looking for an experienced VLSI / Embedded / Semiconductor Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our recruitment team.
This role is ideal for a recruitment professional with strong, hands-on experience sourcing and hiring specialized engineering talent across the VLSI, Embedded Systems, and Semiconductor industry.
You will be responsible for understanding technical hiring requirements, identifying qualified candidates, managing the recruitment lifecycle, and working closely with clients and hiring teams to close specialized engineering positions.
VLSI / Embedded / Semiconductor talent acquisition or recruitment experience is mandatory.
Candidates with only general IT recruitment experience and without relevant VLSI, Embedded, or Semiconductor hiring experience will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
1. VLSI & Semiconductor Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for VLSI, Semiconductor, Embedded, Hardware, and related engineering positions.
- Understand technical job requirements and translate them into effective sourcing strategies.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job portals, professional networks, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of specialized engineering candidates.
- Screen candidates based on technical experience, project exposure, skills, location, notice period, and compensation.
- Conduct initial candidate discussions and assess suitability before submitting profiles to clients.
2. Technical Hiring
Handle recruitment for positions such as:
- ASIC Design Engineers
- RTL Design Engineers
- Design Verification Engineers
- Physical Design Engineers
- DFT Engineers
- Analog & Mixed-Signal Engineers
- Semiconductor Engineers
- VLSI Engineers
- Embedded Software Engineers
- Embedded Firmware Engineers
- Embedded Systems Engineers
- Hardware Design Engineers
- FPGA Engineers
- Verification Engineers
- SoC Engineers
3. Candidate Sourcing & Screening
- Develop targeted sourcing strategies for niche semiconductor and engineering talent.
- Search for candidates using relevant technical keywords and Boolean search techniques.
- Evaluate resumes against specific technical requirements.
- Conduct preliminary screening calls with candidates.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment pipelines.
- Ensure only relevant and qualified candidates are submitted to clients.
4. Client & Hiring Team Coordination
- Understand client requirements, technical skill requirements, and hiring priorities.
- Coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
- Share qualified candidate profiles within agreed timelines.
- Follow up on interview feedback and candidate status.
- Coordinate interviews and support candidates throughout the selection process.
- Work toward successful offer closure and joining.
5. Recruitment Performance
- Meet assigned sourcing, submission, interview, and closure targets.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline for current and upcoming VLSI / Semiconductor requirements.
- Track recruitment activities and provide regular hiring updates.
- Minimize turnaround time for niche technical requirements.
- Build long-term candidate relationships within the semiconductor and embedded engineering ecosystem.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- 5–8 years of relevant Talent Acquisition / Recruitment experience.
- Proven experience in VLSI, Embedded Systems, or Semiconductor recruitment.
- Hands-on experience hiring specialized engineering professionals.
- Strong understanding of VLSI, Semiconductor, and Embedded job profiles and technical terminology.
- Experience sourcing candidates for niche technical positions.
- Strong candidate screening and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and identify suitable candidates.
- Strong follow-up and candidate relationship management skills.
Preferred
- Experience working with semiconductor companies, engineering services companies, product companies, or technology organizations.
- Experience recruiting for ASIC, SoC, RTL, Verification, Physical Design, DFT, FPGA, Firmware, or Embedded roles.
- Strong LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search skills.
- Experience managing multiple specialized requirements simultaneously.
- Experience working in a client-facing recruitment environment.
